Arnold Palmer
Professional golfer Arnold Palmer was born September 10, 1929 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He is known as one of the greatest players in the history of professional golf. Palmer is a member of what is known as "The Big Three" which includes Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus. Arnold Palmer has won all of the major championships including the Masters Tournament, the U.S. Open, The Open Championship and the PGA Championship. Palmer was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974 and won the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998.
