AFGHANISTAN EIDGAH MOSQUE

A broken chair which was used by Taliban regime leader Mullah Mohammad Omar to preach still remains at Eidgah Mosque, one of the biggest mosques in the country, Tuesday Jan. 14, 2003 in Kandahar, Afghanistan. According to local people Mullah Mohammad Omar, a leader of the Taliban regime, ordered the establishment of the mosque in 1999 and himself preached twice to the public, once in 2000 and another in 2001 at this unfinished infrastructure.
