Energy minister informs himself about "street scooter"

07 August 2019, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Wittenburg: Christian Pegel (SPD), the Energy and Transport Minister of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, is standing in front of a "street scooter", an electrically driven van for Deutsche Post parcel delivery staff. Pegel can find out more about the use of electromobility at the Deutsche Post DHL delivery base. Of the 14,300 vehicles operated by Deutsche Post throughout Germany, around 9,000 are electrically powered delivery vans. In addition to the "Streetscooter", 3,000 e-bikes are also in use.
