Fight against bots in retail trade

Fight against bots in retail trade

19 August 2019, Hessen, Frankfurt/Main: Martin Schreiber throws a shoe up in his shop "Bonkers" in Sachsenhausen, where he sells skateboards, clothes and sneakers. When selling sneakers in limited editions to collectors, the businessman was increasingly getting in the way of so-called bots, which automatically bought the shoes and then marketed them at a profit. However, Schreiber succeeded in tricking the bots in a much-noticed action. Photo by: Frank Rumpenhorst/picture-alliance/dpa/AP Images
