Fire brigade and police practice in virtual reality

22 May 2019, Rhineland-Palatinate, Mainz: Brandrat Thomas Kranz from the Fire Brigade and Disaster Control School Rhineland-Palatinate (LFKS) demonstrates the use of a new 3D technology with which realistic operation and emergency situations can be simulated and trained. The program is also to be made available on mobile phones and tablets. In particular, security training could be facilitated by the joint training programme for fire brigades and police, which is the first of its kind in Europe.
