Food or Punishment

Food or Punishment

**ADVANCE FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 23** Nutraloaf, a product from the cafeteria of the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility, is presented by an inmate in South Burlington, Vt., on Friday, March 21, 2008. Nutraloaf is made of whole wheat bread, non-dairy cheese, raw carrots, spinach, seedless raisins, beans, vegetable oil, tomato paste, powdered milk and dehydrated potato flakes. To prison officials, it's a complete meal. To inmates, it's a food so awful, they'd rather go hungry than eat it. (AP Photo/Andy Duback)
