The USA wants to turn off the oil tap on Venezuela: The US Treasury Department has therefore imposed sanctions on an important subsidiary of the Russian oil company Rosneft. The Swiss-based company Rosneft Trading has arranged international oil sales for the sanctioned government of Venezuela's President Maduro, the ministry said.
