Germany's largest cold store

26 June 2019, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rheine: An employee in a cold protection suit drives with his industrial truck through the cold store of the Frische- und Gefrierzentrum Rheine GmbH, which belongs to the Dutch company NewCold. The cold store of superlatives is about 130 meters long and 38 meters high, working at minus 22 degrees. More than one fifth of the approximately 300 employees work in Arctic cold in the fully automatic high warehouse, which holds more than 68,000 pallets.
