Hong Kong after the protests

20 August 2019, China, Hongkong: The skyscrapers of Hong Kong's skyline can be seen from Victoria Peak, the city's highest elevation. Unlike in the weeks before, the protests at the weekend did not lead to any significant riots. The demonstrators didn't build barricades. The police refrained from using tear gas, which was seen as a sign of relaxation. Photo by: Gregor Fischer/picture-alliance/dpa/AP Images
