Increase in electric scooter related injuries

Electric, ride-sharing scooters are seen parked in central Warsaw, Poland on August 7, 2019. Several hundred people this year have already been admitted to emergency care for injuries following use of electric, ride-sharing scooters according to Gazeta Prawna. Currently Polish law lacks any specific legistlation for electric scooters and states they be used in pedestrian zones only. (Photo by Jaap Arriens / Sipa USA)(Sipa via AP Images)
