Memorial service for broken needles

Used needles on tofu, a bean curd are mourned by Koran College Fashion Design, during an annual memorial service for broken needles at its building office in Fukuoka Prefecture on Dec. 6, 2019. The custom has originated from Edo Period since 1603-1867 and the needles should be rested and brought to shrine and temples.
