Negotiations on diesel driving bans

13 November 2018, North Rhine-Westphalia, Essen: Cars drive past a measuring station on the B224 in the early morning. On 15.11.2018, the Administrative Court of Gelsenkirchen will hear about diesel driving bans in Gelsenkirchen and Essen. This was prompted by complaints from Deutsche Umwelthilfe. Environmentalists want to ensure that the EU limit value for nitrogen dioxide, which is harmful to health, is complied with. (to dpa: "Diesel driving bans also in the Ruhr area? Court decides" of 13.11.2018). Photo by: Marcel Kusch/picture-alliance/dpa/AP Images
