Refurbishment Hyparschale Magdeburg

Refurbishment Hyparschale Magdeburg

05 December 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg: In the interior of the hyparschale numerous graffitis are to be seen. In front of it lie the remains of a parquet floor. Since 1997, the multi-purpose hall, which was built according to plans by architect Ulrich M'ther, has been closed to the building police. This week, the 17 million Euro restructuring measures have begun. The listed Hyparschale in the Magdeburger Stadtpark Rotehorn is to become a modern venue for conferences, congresses and cultural events. According to the plan, the construction work will last until summer 2022. Photo by: Stephan Schulz/picture-alliance/dpa/AP Images
