05 December 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg: Inside the hypar shell there is a scaffold that supports the dilapidated roof. Since the beginning of this week, the listed multi-purpose hall has been renovated. Cost: 17 million euros. The tree structure in the Magdeburger Stadtpark Rotehorn is to become a modern venue for conferences, congresses and cultural events. According to the plan, the construction work is to be completed in the summer of 2022. Photo by: Stephan Schulz/picture-alliance/dpa/AP Images
