Refurbishment Hyparschale Magdeburg

05 December 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg: View of the Hyparschale with the cathedral in the background. The multi-purpose hall is currently being renovated for 17 million euros. It was built in 1969 according to the plans of the civil engineer Ulrich M'ther. The multi-purpose hall has been closed to the building police since 1997. It was threatening to decay. Now the listed building is to become a venue for conferences, congresses and cultural events. According to the plan, the construction work will last until summer 2022.
