Refurbishment Hyparschale Magdeburg

05 December 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg: In the hypar shell, workers tear out the old parquet floor with breathing masks. The multi-purpose hall, which was built according to plans by architect Ulrich M'ther, is currently being renovated for 17 million euros. The listed building in Magdeburger Stadtpark Rotehorn is to become a modern venue for conferences, congresses and cultural events. According to the plan, the construction work is to be completed in the summer of 2022. Photo by: Stephan Schulz/picture-alliance/dpa/AP Images
