02 July 2020, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Freest: A grey seal lies in the sun on a sandbank in the Greifswald Bodden. This year, the sea dwellers are appearing more frequently on the German Baltic coast. Juveniles have been reported mainly around the Greifswald Bodden - on the southeast coast of R'gen, in the Strelasund and near Greifswald. In spring 2020, more than 232 seals were counted on one day.
