12 August 2020, Saxony, Chemnitz: A man (M) accused of double murder is led by judicial officers up a staircase in the Chemnitz district court to the hearing room. The accused is said to have strangled two brothers with an electric cable in their apartment in summer 1995. The victims and perpetrators were Vietnamese. The background of the crime was illegal cigarette trade and protection racket. After the murder, the man had left for the Czech Republic, where he had lived under false identity.
