The temple market of several days always takes place around the Buddhist holiday Magha Puja. On this day the Enlightened One is said to have delivered an important first sermon. The night market is popular with tourists and Thais. Beside souvenirs and fake goods there are many stalls with Thai food specialities. The temple market is located in the area of a temple in Karon.
