Union Man Beaten

United Auto Workers of America said it will prosecute "in every way possible" those responsible for beating two union organizers and 16 other persons at the gates of the Ford Motor Company's River Rouge plant in Dearborn, Mich., May 27, 1937. An unidentified union man is shown on the ground, covering his head with his hands during one of the scuffles. Shortly after this incident, a union attorney filed charges against the motor company with the National Labor Relations Board. (AP Photo)
