WWII US Women

In order that women may replace men wherever they are needed in vital wartime communications work, the American Women’s Voluntary Services have opened a Radio Laboratory for training purposes. The ladies will be taught all phases of radio construction and repair. Set up in a New York hotel, the school will turn out radio engineering aides, repairwomen and technicians.
