Helen Keller 1937

Just back from the Far East, Helen Keller, one of the world's most famous deaf-blind persons, stopped in Dallas, Texas, Aug. 31, 1937 to visit her brother, P.B. Keller, with whom she is shown. The dog, Kamikaze, was a gift to Miss Keller while she was in the Far East. It was said the dog's name means "Wings of Gold." (AP Photo)
