Ships Named QUeen Mary

A tremendous reception greeted the “Queen Mary” when it arrived after her record breaking trip from New York. She has regained for great Britain the ‘Blue Riband’ of the Atlantic, and she is the first ship to come from New York to Southampton in less than four days. Her time was 3 days 23 hours 57 minutes. Thousands of people, in boats and steamers, and on the water front, gave the liner a tumultuous welcome when she arrived.
