Mexican Revolution 1929

This rebel tank, improvised from an agricultural tractor, was captured by federal soldiers, April 8, 1929. Three tanks, with machine guns mounted inside, were used by insurgents in their attack in Naco, Sonora. A direct hit by the 37 mm field piece used by the Mexican loyal troops put the captured tank out of commission, killing two rebel soldiers inside. (AP Photo)
