England Barsham Manor

Forbidden by Hitler to draw on his Vienna bank, count Francis Habsburg-Lothringen, 34 years of age, has been forced to leave what is reputed to be the finest Tudor Mansion in Norfolk, Barsham Manor, and to take a one-room service flat. Two years ago when the count came to the manor, he spent £4,000 in restoring the building, and with its turreted tower, battlements, gate house, and bunches of chimneys, it is a fine example of Tudor architecture.
