WWII Poland Children Arrive In England 1939

Seventy Polish refugee children deported from Germany by the Nazis in October last year arrived at Hays Wharf, Tooley Street, London, Aug. 29, 1939, on the Polish steamer "Warasawa." They have been kept between the frontiers of Germany and Poland in a no-man's-land, and have been brought to England by the Polish Refugee Fund O.P.S. (AP Photo)
