The dome is being installed at No. 3 unit of Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant, a demonstration nuclear power project using Hualong One technology, a domestically developed third-generation reactor design, in Fangchenggang city, southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, 23 May 2018. A dome was installed at the No. 3 unit of China National Nuclear Corporation's Fangchenggang nuclear power station in southwest China's Guangxi province. In April 2015, the government approved the use of Hualong One technology to build two reactors unit 5 and 6 in Fuqing nuclear power plant in Fujian province, parallel with units 3 and 4 of Fangchenggang nuclear project in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Fangchenggang-4 is a 1,000-MW indigenous HPR-1000 pressurised water reactor type known as Hualong One. In December 2015, CGN began construction of its first Hualong One unit — Fangchenggang-3. Units 3 and 4 at Fangchenggang will serve as a reference for the proposed Bradwell B plant in the UK, CGN said. In total, six units are planned for the Fangchenggang site.
