Coxey's Family

History books will have a new legend to tell of "General" Jacob Sechler Coxey, who at 77 years of age was elected mayor of Massillon, Ohio in the November election. Thirty-seven years ago Coxey led his famous army of unemployed in Washington, D.C., to urge that Congress approve an issue on non-interest bearing bonds to aid the jobless.
